Lefkada is a complex of 24 small islands in the area between her east coast and the coast of Aitoloakarnania mainland. The lefkadian open sea resembles a mini archipelago with its green islands lying nonchalantly on the blue waters.

MIKROS GIALOS

Poros Mikros Gialos Lefkada: The beach of Poros Mikros Gialos is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Lefkada, located 30 km south of the capital, nearby the village of Poros. Skorpios Lefkas

Skorpios is one of the most famous private islands in the world, it once being owned by the former Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis.

 

Vathi Village Meganisi:

Vathi is one of the main villages in Meganisi. It is located on the northeast coast of the island, at the end of an inlet. Vathi hosts a charming harbour with deep blue waters where fishing and sailing activities are conducted safely. 

 

 

 

 

Papanikolis sea cave

Archaeologists believe that the Cave of Papanikolis used to be the hideaway of a submarine.This cave shot into prominence during World War II by virtue of being a secret hideway for the submarine Papanikolis. The sheer magnitude of The cave is astounding. It is believed that the Papanikolis submarine would tuck up inside this mammoth cave after its blitzkriek on the Italian armada. Meganisi Spartochori Village

The village is colorful with whitewashed houses and courtyards filled with potted plants. There is a large variety of flowers in this small village. It has got a couple of markets and shops where you can get the locally produced agricultural products. The taverns offer you a delicious menu, mainly the fresh fish caught in the bay.
